Imagine will be hosting the upcoming Season of D&D: Encounters on Wednesdays at 6pm. this season we will be playing a Campaign in the Dark Sun realm, all characters will be pre-generated and will be available on the day of the game, if you wish to see what characters are available go by the store and you can see the pre-generated characters. the sessions can hold up to 6 players per group, If it comes down to it that there are more players I will change the times and have 2 groups or more as long as we have players. every one will need to be registered with DCI to play, if you do not already have a number, cards will be available to register with at the store. players do not need to bring anything with them, but them selves, dice will be available, but everyone can bring there own supplies that they want.

So if you want to Play some 4th Edition D&D or learn the new system or just have a group of people to play with everyone is welcome to come and enjoy playing.

We had our First DnD: Encounters session tonight, and it went off with out a problem. We had a good very diverse group of players from new players to experienced, both guys and girls, and a diverse group of ages in the mix.

next week we will be playing again, the 6pm group is full, but I am looking at starting an additional group at 8pm. so any interested I will be at the shop ready to play. no experience, dice or anything is necessary on your part, just come and play everything you need will be available for you to play.

Also we are looking to re visit the sessions on other days, unfortunately sessions on days other then Wednesday will not be reported to WOTC but you will get to play, if it comes down to it and we end up with more interest then what can be played, we can look at talking to WOTC and petitioning to be able to play on a second day.

well the Encounters game is done on Wednesday nights starting around 6pm we start the first game. and generally will have a second game as long as we have the people to play. as for a weekend game, i currently do not have a weekend game going, but I do try to run a Friday night game at Imagine, that is when i have players show up. if your interested let me know, I always have space for a new player. as for what you need. For the Wednesday night game all you have to do is show up, as everything is provided. for the Friday night game, a legal character (which you can build using the Character builder from the wizards website), Dice and a want to play.

had 2 great Sessions this week. had one player die and almost killed a few others during both sessions. had a total of 8 players this week. everyone had fun and enjoyed them selves. we are always open to have more players, so if your interested in DnD and want to try it out come on up on Wednesday nights and join in the fun all you need is a want to play and a fun nature and enjoy your self.

last nights encounter against the Wind Elemental went pretty well in both groups. no one actually died, would have been nice. but everyone was happy, until they found them selves surrounded by halflings bearing Spears.

Create Your Own Character in Chapter 3 of
    D&D Encounters: Dark Sun®

The Dark Sun books have hit the shelves at IMAGINE!, and players have been waiting eagerly to dive into the cool new options and create their own characters. Rather than wait to fire up a home campaign, test drive the new options here first! Starting with Chapter 3 of D&D Encounters: Dark Sun, all players may create their own 3rd-level Dark Sun character instead of using the provided pre-generated ones. Here are the rules:

No divine character classes or options

No material from the Forgotten Realms® Player's Guide or the Eberron® Player's Guide

Allowed character races are dragonborn, dwarf, eladrin, elf, half-elf, halfling, human, tiefling (PH1); goliath (PH2); minotaur (PH3); mul, thri-kreen (DSCS)

Pick a character theme from the Dark Sun Campaign Setting

Characters start at 3rd level with 620 gold to purchase equipment and receive their choice of a +1 magic weapon, +1 magic implement, +1 magic armor, or a +1 amulet of protection

Have fun playing the last chapter of this season of D&D Encounters, and don't forget that a new season starts up on September 22 — Keep on the Borderlands!
